#Sweat is a small group and personal training gym. We are not your typical, come in and train on your own, gym. We have early morning classes, ladies only day time classes, evening classes, older adult classes, a beautician, massage therapist, personal trainers and an abundance of motivation! We don’t just do it, we sweat it!
Small Group Training
Class sizes are no bigger than 12. You will have our attention throughout ensuring good technique and understanding of what is to be completed. This is not like any class you’ve attended in a gym before!! Expect laughs, good company, and an even better workout!
Child Friendly
Babies and children are welcome to our daytime classes, and we all know the expectations of motherhood, if you need to feed/change your baby, just do it! We have a dedicated ‘kids corner’ that is children friendly; soft mats and padding, lots of toys, colouring and books to keep them entertained.

Before joining I was concerned about being very overweight, I felt self conscious before entering the gym, but that disappeared the moment I walked in. I also don’t have children – with the name Club Mama – I didn’t know that I would fit in or be welcomed by everybody else, but that was the exact opposite of what I’ve experienced. Being older – I was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up, but being able to go at my own pace to a certain degree has meant I’ve become stronger and fitter. I’ve been to a number of gyms and fitness classes – this is definitely the best I’ve ever been to. The groups are so friendly and encouraging. When you feel you can’t do something, somebody around you will help you. It doesn’t matter your age, fitness status or whether you have children or not, everybody is so friendly. Thank you!

I didn’t think I would fit in. I thought I would look silly and feel out of place. I had seen pictures on Facebook and thought it looked like fun. I liked the fact it was small groups. Within minutes of walking in I felt like I had been there for years. A lovely friendly group of ladies and instructors that didn’t intimidate me. A great balance of hard work and humour. My main goals were to run faster and change shape. I have knocked off 3 minutes from my 5k pb. For the first time since I can remember I don’t hate my body. I can do things I never thought possible like deadlift close to 100 kilos and box jump. I have made some lifetime friends both the others ladies and the fabulous instructors.

I’ve been coming since the start so always loved it and great to see new people there. I went because it was day time classes where I could bring my children along. Made it easy and convenient. I wanted to lose weight and stay active for my children. Morag and Bridget are great trainers. Both very motivational and understanding. All the girls that train in club mama are supportive and I love coming to classes. I wouldn’t train anywhere else.

Before joining I felt a little worried that I would not match the levels of ability of the women already there. But I was made to feel welcome straight away. Continuing to train with Morag was the biggest draw to join classes, but the classes fitted nicely with my schedule and being able to bring the children means I can train in the holidays. Since joining I am lifting heavier weights, improved ability in classes, dropped two dress sizes, increased my stamina & have quicker recovery. Thank you to Bridget and Morag for all the support. These classes have given me improved fitness but also more confidence and have helped me develop a more active lifestyle.
