Education:Pre & post natal for exercise level 3
In truth, I’ve never realised quite how much my body has changed over these past years, and while I feel great, I never actually came this far on the journey to lose weight.
My journey started with me wanting to get back in shape after having a baby. But little did I know that exercise was going to bring Morag back. I had been lost. I love Lily more than words can describe, but I struggled to get out of bed in the morning, I cried a lot and I didn’t know why. I filled those tears with chocolate and takeaway because food gave me comfort. But I was in denial with how I was feeling.
After ending a long term relationship, I started attending Bridget’s day time classes for mums, this was the start of a journey that created #sweat. The thing that I enjoyed the most was working out with other ladies in a supportive environment, all motivating each other to lift stronger and work harder. My daughter would come with me, and she still does when it’s the school holidays.
My mood improved ten fold, and I’m fully aware of my body now, that if I’m not active enough I can quickly slip back into those low moods.
I realised I wanted to help others feel good about themselves, and truly understand the benefits of exercise. So I became a PT, and then studied in pre & post natal exercise, and now I’ve not long achieved my level 1 in sports and exercise nutrition along with Bridget.
